MN DEMO IS CANCELLED

Due to lack of bodies, we are having to call this off.

We need to arrange a date for it VERY soon though.

THanks those of you who were going to make the effort. Much appreciated.

Oh, im so sorry that you couldnt get people to come.

Please let us know on Bounty when the demo is going to be, as there are some people who will try and get there with a few days notice xx

i would definitely try to come if more notice. my 23 months old ds would find it very difficult to stand still in Vauxhall bridge rd so I'd need to get his dad to look after him i think.

Is there an online petition we could sign? There is no way I could leg it up to London in person (would love to, just too busy and too far away) but if a petition would help, happily sign it.

I JUST WANT TO CONFIRM FOR ANYONE OUT THERE STILL READING, THAT THE DEMO WAS PULLED DUE TO LACK OF AVAILABLITLY - NOT LACK OF INTEREST.

SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE SUPPORTED US, BUT DUE TO THE TIGHT TIMING INVOLVED, AND WE ARE MOTHERS WITH BABIES, IT WASNT POSSIBLE.

PLEASE DO NOT LOSE HEART OR FOCUS - TOGETHER WITH THE CORRECT PLANNING, WE CAN DO THIS XXX

Agree with JARM - thank you to the very many MNers who wanted to come on the demo but couldn't at short notice because obviously we've all got kids/jobs/don't live within easy reach of capital. Loads of people CAT'd and emailed me to say they'd love to come but timing was too tight. So thank you to all of them and let's arrange something soon that's more do-able.

Well done for all the effort and if timing is good i will hope to get there from the deepest darkest west country .... However in light of the current terrorist situation I don't think it would have mananged to make the impact we'd hope it would .... anyway - onwards and upwards !

tbh, a load of musm marching their children up and down out side a publishers wouldn't have got much attention today anyway
