Formula advertising?

There's a banner advert up the top for cow nd gate baby club.

Is it 'allowed'?

Is it specifically advertising formula milk for babies under 6 months?

I was just about to complain about this, I don't care if it's keeping to the letter of the rules, I don't like it.

We get mirad threads from women put under enormous pressure by friends and family to stop BFing at 6months for no reason except some odd notion that you don't BF and eat solid food (or bF with teeth).

The follow on milk industry quite calculatingly and disgracefully play on this and do all they can to reinforce your nonsense about iron levels and vitamins.

And while they state all the DCs are over 6 months they are all jolly little and they are always shown with bottles not an older child's feeding cup

We've blocked formula milk advertising but it might be slipping through the net somehow. If you see this ad again could you post the URL that it clicks through to?

It's not formulae advertising, it's advertising a kind of Cow and Gate MN. Inviting you to login so they can bombard you with dodgy advice and adverts for ever.

Sorry I didn't make myself very clear, Cow and Gate are blocked as part of our ban on formula milk advertising, but if someone could post the URL we can double check that it's not a variant on the URL that we have on our block list.
