It is awful isn't it? Precious time lost because of all this crap.

compo · 07/08/2006 12:22
Sad
flibertygibbet · 07/08/2006 12:26

I just read about what's been going on .

It's awful enough as it is but the timing really sucks .

I hope that all of us avoiding mentioning certain people on the site will give you some peace to enjoy your lovely babies.

WideWebWitch · 07/08/2006 12:26

Me too, I really feel for you too. It's unfair in the extreme. x

. Hope you can now get some respite from here and enjoy your families .

NobodyAtAll · 07/08/2006 12:31

I always got the impression that Justine liked a bit of drama! Am I projecting? If so, then loads of sympathy. I am a big fan and would be gutted if she or carrie were seriously gutted.

cupcakes · 07/08/2006 12:46

Reading about the timing of this palaver made me cry. It's so, so gutting.

CheesyFeet · 07/08/2006 13:03

so sad for them. Hopefully it'll all blow over soon and they can get back to what's REALLY important.

Tinker · 07/08/2006 16:00

Made me feel really upset thinking about the timing for you both.

Marina · 07/08/2006 16:01

Me too. Words can't express it really. Marina XXX

JustineMumsnet · 07/08/2006 18:37

Thanks so much everyone for your thoughts - really very kind of you. We'll just have to bloomin well make sure we take it at some point - maybe a 4-month sabbatical in somewhere tropical this winter assuming this has all gone away then, please God - sure you'd all get on fine without us.
Ps What are you on about nobodyatall - drama, moi ? Yours Justine Brockovitch

cupcakes · 07/08/2006 18:39

Do hope you get your break eventually. We promise to be good.

MrsJohnCusack · 07/08/2006 18:40

yes I think this is the saddest thing of all

well said Enid

tigermoth · 07/08/2006 18:45

I had really hoped things had quietened down a bit in these last weeks, so I really feel for you, Justine and Carrie - what with this hot weather, and all this legal pressure and no maternity leave - you both deserve a the longest of long holidays (as do tech and others).

edam · 07/08/2006 18:46

agree, amazing that anyone would hassle women trying to take some maternity leave.

WideWebWitch · 07/08/2006 18:46

lol at Justine Brockovitch!

WelshBoris · 07/08/2006 18:47

Yeah sorry girls

katierocket · 07/08/2006 18:47

Of course, god how grim. You poor things. Well what goes around comes around.

robinpud · 07/08/2006 18:48

I can't add anything more than has been said already.. just hope you both get some peace soon.
I admire you both for tackling this and coping with newborns.

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 07/08/2006 18:50

I agree - of all of the things this feels like the worst bit. I hope you do take those 4 months. even if you don;t manage the tropical bit.

SenoraPostrophe · 07/08/2006 18:55

Oh I'd forgotten about the mat leave. bummer.

hope it all blows over soon.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/08/2006 18:56

Nothing but support here

I really do hope this hasnt hindered the bond with your newborns TOO much, and you take comfort in the fact MN posters are more than 100% behind you all x

SpaceCadet · 07/08/2006 18:57

ive been thinking the same thing..hope you get that well earned break.
