Can't watch a thread in MN local (not my MN local)

I was looking at the Daily bread thread in DOTD. It was interesting, I wanted to try some of the ideas out, but I didn't have anything to say, so I just tried to 'watch' it. I got an HTTP error, I imagine because Leicestershire isn't my local site?

Snap. I've added the page as a favourite in my brower to allow me to follow. I even generated a local nickname to try and overcome it that way.

MNHQ if the thread can't be watched, any chance of moving it to the general boards?

Hi there RedKites,

Thanks v much for flagging this to us - it looks like this is actually a glitch, so we'll get the Tech team on it now.

Yes, I've been trying to watch a couple of threads in my own MNLocal recently and I'm not able to do that.

It would be very useful as Local is where you can often offer practical support and being able to follow a thread easily is very useful.

Also, I can't bookmark the point in the thread I've reached.
