why did this thread get deleted?

Have I missed something? I was grumpy on a thread yesterday where someone was asking could they be pregnant as they had had sex with no contraception (but I apologised and it was all quite funny in the end) and it's been deleted. Why? It was all perfectly amicable when I left it.
