Name changing for a sensitive subject

I was wondering if some kind mumsnetter could please explain to me how to change my name in detail because Im a thicko

Are you on a computer/laptop or mobile/tablet?
No ideas on a mobile etc, but on my computer:

Log in
Click on mymumsnet in top right
Select My Account
there is a box with your username in, type something else over this
scroll down to bottom, and put in your password, and then save changes.
At some point it tells you if the username is unavailable
