Any idea why threads drop off my 'I'm watching'?

At least once a day, a couple of threads I'm watching disappear. I can find them again because I know what they're called, but I re-'watch' them again, only for them to drop off again later.

Any ideas what might be causing this please?

I've just reported the thread Regaining to see if that helps in case it's not being monitored Blush

I'm guessing though that as only a few of us are talking about it, it might not be a high priority for Tech.

Thanks for posting - we'll flag this to tech again, so sorry you're still having problems.

Thanks, it's just happened again (for info) just after I posted on the thread. That seems to be the link.

Thanks WingDefence - looks like a Safari/mobile site problem then? We will pass that on to Tech

Yes it's definitely when I use my iphone and safari (I don't like use the app).

Cheers in advance Thanks

(And it's annoying as I'm doing this on my phone so it'll happen again!)

Sorry, I forgot about this Blush

It's not really happening to me any more - but when it was, it was on Safar, Google Chrome AND Firefox Confused

Still doing it!

Argh, sorry

The problem is, this only seems to be happening to one or two of you, which is often a sign that it's a user-end problem, not a Mumsnet problem.

Obviously if lots of people now post to say they're getting the same thing, we'll be proved wrong!

How odd! I take it you can't replicate the issue then using iphones and safari?

Fair enough though. We'll wait for the hordes to arrive... Grin

Really sorry WingDefence - just waiting to see if lots of other people are having the same problem. We know that's of very little help to you, sorry Blush

It's still happening :( Any chance you could put the 'watch this thread' select box under in comment entry box on the mobile site as per the main site?
I mean, it's got the use different NN box but not the watch one and I think this may be why it keeps removing a thread from TIW when I post on my phone?

Thanks

Still happening here too

It's still happening here when I post on my phone on the mobile site. It'll happen to this thread too now :(

I haven't noticed as I've not used my phone to MN for ages.

Please can we have the 'watch this thread' tick box on the mobile site as that's the only thing I think would work?
