Can we ban 'Haha' at the end of sentences?

FantasticFabby · 21/01/2014 13:59

I fear it comes from an invasion of Nethuns but it needs to be nipped in the bud.

If your sentence is funny I will laugh. Adding 'Haha' at the end does not encourage merriment but is in fact anger inducing.

Haha (along with lol) isn't a form of punctuation. There is no need to end every sentence with it.

Please stop.

Avalon · 21/01/2014 14:01

Oh dear. That's not funny, ha ha. Lol. No?

UriGeller · 21/01/2014 14:04

I quite like it. But more realistically what about, "hnn hnerrr, unhh unhh" instead?

mummylin2495 · 21/01/2014 14:07

What about if we put it at the beginning instead ?

Rooners · 21/01/2014 14:09

Oh yes PLEASE desist

it's frightful

it is WORSE than lol

I do use lol sometimes when it is required but not just to fill the gaps

Anatana · 21/01/2014 14:11

lol!

HoneyDragon · 21/01/2014 14:16

What about

Heh heh?

I like a good

Heh heh

It indicates mirth with a slight leaning toward evil.

FantasticFabby · 21/01/2014 14:41

Lolz Wink

We can't really ban folks from ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaing all over the show. You are welcome to tell them that you aren't keen on it but we can't really make it a rule as such.

NigellasDealer · 21/01/2014 15:27

lol good point haha
what about buahahahhahahahahahahahah?

DramaAlpaca · 21/01/2014 15:37

Seeing lol & haha in posts drives me bananas. Especially when it's used at the end of every sentence.

I don't mind a good ROFL though if the occasion merits it.

NigellasDealer · 21/01/2014 15:38

what about 'PMSL'?

squeaver · 21/01/2014 15:39

Thisisaghostlyeuphemism · 21/01/2014 15:49

Putting light hearted stems from ops fear of being misinterpreted. Since they usually are, I can understand it.

I think we should put heavy hearted. Ha ha?

Thisisaghostlyeuphemism · 21/01/2014 15:51

How about ho ho ho or is there copyright on that?

Ubik1 · 21/01/2014 15:51
