Can't click off photos

When I click on a photo there's no 'x' to click off it again, I have to close the whole page and re-open a new one
I'm using safari but not on the app and I'm on the desktop version

I've noticed that Tech has recently removed the X to close the photo too. But I just click somewhere completely outside the photo and that closes the photo and takes you back to the thread.

I'm on a desktop using Firefox.

Sorry about this - Tech have had a look and they say this has been fixed now.
