MN Android App not working on Galaxy S4?

Ive just installed the MN app on my new galaxy s4 but I cant get it to work properly. When I log into the app, it shows me the general 'landing' page (active, topics, pms etc.) But when I click any of these nothing appears. The page remains blank! A quick Google hasn't found anything so hoping someone here can help. TIA :-)

I'm having weird problems on my S4. I can see everything, but it's in a weird layout and horrible.

Ad pop ups too, saying about android virus.

Well I've done a virus check and restarted my phone and it"s ok again for me.

I'm having the same issues on my Droid Incredible 2 (old I know :P).

I'm restarting it now...

Restart didn't help... HELP!

Sorry you're struggling folks, the app can be a bit glitchy at times. Can we suggest that you try the mobile site, which generally works a bit smoother?

Sure, I can use the mobile site, but I would prefer to use the app - I mean, isn't that what it's for??! It seems crazy that you develop and release an app but when it doesn't work you just shrug your shoulder and say use something else instead???

Used app successfully for months on Galaxy S2 but then it ceased to function. It kept coming up blank apart from headers. Gave up in the end and removed app. This was at about time above comments made ie Dec/Feb. Now several weeks later reloaded and still the same problem. Any suggestions? Same phone right through.

App doesn't work on my new Samsung S3 either.

To be fair, I'm not very good with the phone yet so thought it was something i was doing but turns out its not.

I'm using it fine on an s4. gets a bit glitchy on long threads but had always done that, seems to miss bits out.

Sorry to hear about this - it sounds as though an Android OS upgrade at the start of the new year may have made the app glitchy for those using Android.

We can't easily make coding changes to the existing app; it was built by a third party and making changes is a bit unfeasibly expensive and faffy.

We are in the process of building an entirely New! Improved! app that we fervently hope will work brilliantly across all platforms.

But for now you'd really be best off using the mobile site if the app isn't working for you - apologies.
