Thanks for this.

The frustrating truth is that we can't get into the detailed ins and outs of our dealings with other posters. Although we'd dispute that we're 'more likely to ban unknown people who cause such people to threaten to sue', Maryz; we'd generally only consider banning someone if they repeatedly posted material that drew legal complaints even after we'd contacted them to ask them to stop. (And that goes for people on both sides of this, or any other, dispute...)
