Name change failure

I have accidentally outed myself on a thread that is quite sensitive for me. This has been reported by me and others, will my post just be deleted or can my real user name be deleted as well? It contains a lot of identifiable info to anybody who knows me.

Is there anyway to actually remove my normal nickname from the thread? As in the whole post showing my nickname, not just my comment?

It can be done, but it's one for Tech (rather than something we can easily do for you). Do you want to report the post again and explain that you'd like that done, and we'll pass it on to Tech?
