So I come back to find that you have deleted my thread asking why my Santa thread was deleted.

Of course it was a thread about a thread, it was asking a question about the thread.

Wtf else is one supposed to do?

I put it in site stuff.

It was also a really nice friendly thread full of poetry and laughs. Why why why why was it deleted? What the hell is going on there?

Secondly, if one wants to talk about something, and that something has been deleted purely owing to others mischief, does that mean that one is never to talk about that subject again??

How mad is that?

Is not revisionism a little telling?

Soz, forgot i was disconsolate before

In the spirit of Nelson's death, how about some truth and reconciliation?

I am telling the truth about not being deliberately etc.

If you had read the op and the thread you would have seen it was clearly the case.

Revisionism is really not th e answer and smacks of defensiveness and the last refuge etc

Really, have you ever seen another deletion message altered AFTER THE FACT?

Is it not passing strange?

I don't think the deletion message has been changes for the second thread. It always said it was deflamatary, didn't it?

PacificDogwood · 06/12/2013 23:36

Would taking the High Road and Having the Moral High Ground make it easier for you to let it go, Hully?

Hullygully · 06/12/2013 23:41

No
and
no

Why wuld one "let go" an attack on one's character and good name??

I must admit, I'd be upset if MNHQ had accused me of something which I knew wasnt true, Hully.

But I was listening to Nelson earlier. He said he always made friends with his prison guards, as he knew they weren't the problem. He trusted them and treated them with respect and kindness.

I don't know where this is going, but thought I'd put it out there.

PacificDogwood · 06/12/2013 23:42

Because you know you're Right and they are Wrong

Moral high ground - v satisfying

PacificDogwood · 06/12/2013 23:43

Grin at MNHQ = prison guards

HoneyDragon · 06/12/2013 23:44

Is it me or are there now 70'000 Santa:bad or good? Threads on the boards that are not inflammatory? Confused

I reckon Hullys thread would have be considered finebif she said it was all about her fictional friend Maude and Olga who were disagreeing. Rather than first person.

Did Nelson give in?

I don't think so

Did people say, hey Nelse mate, let it go? What's a bit of injustice man? A few necklacings? A 20 year stretch on Robben Island? etc?

Everyone always wants the awkward one to shut up, everyone else is fucked if they do. Cos it'll be your turn next.

Exactly Maryz.

Normally when people insist they are being "got at" on here, I think "oh course you are dear twat "

But I do think its odd that Hully gets reported do much

No Mary. I don't care about next ones and ammo etc. I care about the wrong being done right now. My conscience woul dnever let me shut up about it. That's called appeasement.

I think the only thing you can do is report everytime someone has a pop at you. I know that's not something you'd like to do, but it's the only way they will be shut up.

I was actually going to report some of the posts on the first thread as there were so many personal attacks on you, but I thought, no, Hully can look after herself. But actually, they should have been reported as MNHQ would have been aware of the thread earlier, may have dropped a quick 'Ahem' and then they may have backed off and the discussion could have carried on.

Instead it all ends in confusion and upset.
