Discrimination against windows phones is obvious on MN

People can post pictures from their phones to the threads easily yet we are unable to Sad

We don't even have an app!

Why oh why isn't MN WP friendly? What had Microsoft done to you all?

How am I meant to bring cliffmas cheer now?! Cliffmas will be ruined Grin

Oh no! I've just ordered my new phone - a Lumia 720 Windows phone. If I'd realised my MNing experience would be compromised I'd have stuck with Android like I have now! Xmas Sad

Could someone have a look at why Windows phones have started double posting? (There is a thread in Chat I posted on (twice) yesterday.

After hitting post it comes up with "Can not download this file, format not supported in Windows"

It worked fine until recently.

On a Windows Phone here and attempting to upload a picture.

Can browse and post to MN fine with WP but sometimes the threads don't format perfectly. An app would be good. DH users a thing called tapatalk to read and post to forms from his phone. MN doesn't seem to be there.

Will resurrecting this old thread come to the attention of Mumsnet or do I need to start a new thread?

I've just started using mumsnet on a windows phone having previously used it without difficulty on a 5-year-old large-screen Nokia, and it's not at all user friendly.

Haven't even tried posting photos yet but the biggest annoyance is that on every thread I get the first few posts at reasonable font size, just until the banner ads on the right hand side are finished, then when the thread posts are allowed to take up the full width of the screen the font size goes way too tiny to read - I have to zoom in and then flick the view left and right every line which is a really unpleasant experience. This is the same whether I use //www.mumsnet.com or m.mumsnet.com. Could there be a font size preference in my preferences or something to overcome this?
