Stamping feet - I want to use the desktop site!!!

Anyone else having problems today I only want to use the desktop site not the 'app' I can't get on with the app - I have tried! But nothing happens when I tap on the desktop site icon.

Please help - stuck in bed with a really bad throat and mumsnet is the only thing keeping my mind off how much of an agony it is to swallow :(

I'm on a nexus on chrome if that makes any difference.

I am heartily fed up of threads being deleted because the OP didn't like the answers they got. It's incredibly rude to the posters who gave sensible suggestions and information and calling it a bun fight when the aggro was pretty much all instigated by the OP is Not On.

OP: the mobile site is borked, so I'm afraid you either need to use the app or the desktop site (on a non mobile device)

No idea what borked is either?? So why does it give me the option to go to the desktop everything was fine last night :(

To have totally fucked something up. Usually by doing something stupid. Specifically used to describe technology that is broken. Example 1.... Admin: I totally borked my machine installing Win XP SP2.

Example 2....

"I can't come over at the moment...my car is borked".

But the mumsnet mobile site is being sorted ATM - the fonts are back to normal at least, buttons were still not working last time I checked, but hopefully will be back up soon.

If you go to mumsnet by typing address into address bar rather than via bookmark does it give you the option of desktop?
