Three times tonight I have been confronted with a sort of popup from cdn.flashtalking when opening an MN thread. It's not happening when I look at twitter or fb. I'm on an iPad2 ios4 (I know, I know) using Safari. Wassup?

I got it too, it appeared multiplr times, quoting a string of numbers and letters. It's quite disconcerting and you have to click ok to get it disppear.

Glad it's not just me. I didn't click Ok (too scared!) but did the single click of the button at the left to close it, then double click on the same button do I could close stuff down and stop them running in the background. A bit disconcerting, though.

If it happens again, could you let us know what ads are showing at that time in the background behind the pop-up?

OR, if you could you send us a screen shot to the normal contactus@ address, that would be fantastic.

I wouldn't be able to take a screenshot, because everything is "frozen" and greyed out, but if it happens again I'll take a note of whatever ads are showing. :)

Erm, I'd have to go look at my photos, where I took a screenshot of "how to take a screenshot" on an MN thread... But I see the question has already been answered.
