What can I do to start looking at MN active convos with a clean slate, as it were? I'm fed up of seeing all the topics that i've ever looked at, being highlighted permanently. This never used to be the case

Delete browser history maybe

What do you mean by 'highlighted'?

I mean 'changed colour' like when you've read a thread.

Except that the threads all revert to 'unread' but the flippings don't!

Maybe I'll try deleting browser history then.

DD1 is wrong. Cookies are only part of your cache.
