Bloody App

The Android app is a great idea which would help lots in theory. But "sponsored" posts are never removed so I now have two "refreshes" worth of sponsored posts (stretching back into September) which makes Active convos unusable. And the top "flash" combined with the always-present Smiley list means that I can't see where I am typing once my on-screen keyboard is up.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace, so not an overly small screen.

Use the mobile site instead? I always found the app paled in comparison...

Mobile site. It's the only way.

limegreenpickle · 29/10/2013 13:21

Sorry to jump in, but how do you find and upload the mobile site. I know it must be obvious, but I can't work it out. (from laptop!)

poorbuthappy · 29/10/2013 13:22

Why would you need the mobile site on a laptop limegreenpickle?
Usually mobile devices automatically pick up the mobile site.

MinesAPintOfBlood · 29/10/2013 13:26

The app loads faster and is otherwise nicer to interact with though. I thought that if they went to all that trouble to write it they might like to finish the edges off.

limegreen there's a link at the bottom of the page. It doesn't look very nice on a wider screen though.

If you're on the regular site, scroll to the bottom of any page and there's a link to the mobile site.

There is nothing to download. Not upload.

limegreenpickle · 29/10/2013 13:33

Ah ha! Thank you. I am on laptop because I can't work out how to access easily through my phone. Now I will try. Thank you.

limegreenpickle · 29/10/2013 13:38

I am on the mobile site now. Thank you.

MinesAPint try clearing your data from the app. That should get rid of the stickies from ad infinitum.

poorbuthappy · 29/10/2013 15:24

I have to regularly uninstall and reinstall the andriod app to get rid.
