A pic to a thread?

Unless you're uploading to one of the few threads that allow pics to be directly uploaded (such as: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/have_you_seen_pictures ), then you first need to upload it to a photo hosting site such as Photobucket and then post a link to the pic on the thread.

Zombie, I think this is where I am getting confused.

I have seen some threads with pics on and at the bottom of the thread allows you to upload. For some reason I have got it into my head that you can do this on any thread and when I came to do it today, I wondered where the boxes had gone underneath the posting box and thought maybe there was a glitch today. Hadn't realised it cannot always be done.

Bella, there are only 4 or 5 topics that allow direct uploading. The one Zombie linked to is the only one she can find at the moment.
