Sending PMs to more than one poster

I wanted to send a message to several posters, so I started a PM and put all their names in the address line.

When the message was sent, it showed all the names in alphabetical order (which was not what I had done)

But in my 'sent' box, it only shows the first name. Does this mean that it hasn't gone to all the others?
