How do competitions work?

If you submit 10 reviews, does your name go into the hat 10 times, or just one entry per name, regardless of amount of reviews?

(I want one of the slings )

i think 10 enteries = 10 reviews

For a start you have to never post on the talk board to win.

I'll admit that I am bad loser because a gave up entering when it was a name I didn't recognise who won 98% of the time.

I don't mind not winning if it's a regular MNer but when it's someone who never posts anything and just enters ever competition all over the WWW it really pisses me off.

Gloworm · 22/06/2006 11:50

I know what you mean LTH, in fact I won a couple years ago and I'd only just joined...havent won anything since!

I always assumed lots of enteries were from people who actively browse the web looking for competition to enter, and only join MN to entre the competition. I suppose there is always the chance they will stick around afterwards though.

I get bitter about that too - like when the tip is always some really bizarre name (although the rest of us probably post too much to remember to give tips )

I may be forced to review everything in sight then... I'm not sure I can manage to stop posting on talk though
