Can you get the app version on a laptop, or is there a solution to this?

My internet (Asia) isn't very good, and often I get the site all sort of elongated - it's only Mumsnet this happens with, but I have to scroll down about seven million miles before I get to any posts. Is there a way of fixing this by using a mobile, or lite version? Or disabling all the pictures or something?

What is it that you're scrolling down past exactly?

It's all of the stuff at the top - that would usually be in tabs etc., but it's all in a long list, with spaces in between.
