It's a bit like going to the GP; they ask all sorts of questions and do all sorts of tests before they can say what's up. It's a good idea to do a check on your computer though.

Sole, are you using Google Chrome?

If so, it's a known issue with them.

I got paranoid as I chat to a friend in C h8ina sometimes and I thought he was spying on me!

I have this sometimes (not always) and I don't use chrome.

I have clicked 'make.my profile visible to.all Mumsnetters' but my profile is still hidden.

Lovely tech have had a look and it's not coming from us so is definitely something to do with your PC we're afraid. It may be a good idea to do another malware and virus scan. You should use a different programme as some can miss things.

We hope you manage to get it sorted.
