blank message comes up when you press reply to PM's

I'm trying to reply to a PM I got, but when I click the reply button, it comes up with a small message that says:

the page at www.mumsnet.com says:

[OK]

any ideas what this is, and how to reply to messages? When you click the ok button, the message disappears but nothing else happens.

Are you using an app/mobile site/a laptop or pc/what browser ie chrome/firefox

I'm using a laptop and chrome.

I've not had this problem before.

just to let you know, I've tried again today and its still happening.

I have noticed that it just seems to be with the one message now.

I can PM them directly if I start a new message, and I can reply to other messages now, but still can't reply to this one message.

very strange! - can someone PM me to test it again?

Just tried it with a new PM (Thanks CatsAndTheirPizza!) and this worked fine.

Aha! So is it just with a certain PM that you're trying to reply to?

It seems to be, but I've got hold of her a different way now so no need to worry any more.
