Email from Justine

I got an email purporting go be from Justine Roberts ( Is she not a wonderful co- founder of Mumsnet?)
Is this email kosher?
I didn't open it .

I think I did too, it was to answer a questionnaire or summat

I didn't open it so I don't know. I think there were 'books' in the title. Please could MNHQ confirm it was legitimate (or not, which means all our names etc have been hacked) .Personally I thought it was dodgy- why would Justine email me?

I thought I was SPECIAL, and that it was cause MNHQ luffs me that they got Justine to email me.

I thought I was on The List of Favourite MNetters

Now I see it was a marketing ploy to get me to open an email, and I am distraught.

Might have to go and eat a brownie to console myself...

I seem to have Olivia Vandyk in my email contacts and it's been there for years and I Don't Know WHY.

I tend to open all your emails, except the MN recommends when I am feeling a bit skint. [swot]

I thought it was phishing type spam too as Justine would be far too busy to be sending out mails

Speaking of emails, if I report a post, I sometimes get an email back saying

"Hi , thanks for reporting that thread....."

I find it a bit disconcerting that I'm being addressed by my real name, rather than my username. Not that my identity is secret - I share enough on here to identify me and I never share anything I wouldn't want to 'follow' me. It's just that MN gives anonymity to users.
