Random words highlighted with linky things

Came on Mumsnet this morning and every thread I go on has random words highlighted in orange which when you click on them take you to some random site!

What is going on?

How can I get rid of it?

It seems to be an Ask.com link, e.g. if the word highlighted is building then it will offer to find you a builder!

You need to run a malware check ASAP.
