Is anyone else finding those drop down boxes at the top of the page a bit ott?

At the top bar where it says Talk, Pregnancy, Baby, Child etc?

If my cursor goes on one I can't very easily get rid of the big drop down menus that pop up

OH that's what's different, i couldn't (wasn't thinking) process what was pissing me right off about the page today.

Glad it's been fixed, i.e. they don't hang around for so long, but I hate them.

I always seem to end up with my cursor over them and it's so irritating!

I have to join the chorus of just how annoying they are.
The number of times they have obscured what I was trying to read today, is just infuriating.

Why oh why do people always try to fix things when they were never broke in the first place ??

The menu tabs/options were fine the way they were! in box has now moved to the far right...what for ?

Oh fgs, I go to click on active or i'm on and don't realise I've accidently ghosted over one of these drop down things and I keep ending up on pages about morning sickness and other associated crap.

Fix it. And if you think it's fixed, it's not. Fix it more.

It's just I'm not pregnant and I'm not interested in morning sickness and the big picture of ginger biscuits is upsetting me. I have no ginger biscuits.

There's an 'offers' one that appears if you hover over the 'talk' of 'Mumsnet Talk' which makes no sense to me at all... you don't know its there if you don't accidentally hover there and you don't want it to pop up if you accidentally pull your mouse over 'mumsnet talk' anyway.

I'm going to have to add my voice to the complainers as well, it's just so annoying when the huge drop down box appears, I can't face seeing that gurning pregnant woman again.

I don't think the drop downs on hover over are a mistake, despite being out of keeping with the rest of the site's look and feel. Awful. I hope you didn't pay anyone money to add this new feature to the site, MNHQ.

They are really bloody sensitive. I'm only going past them, and they take over the full page.
