I always bookmark posts, but the little hovery thing has gone. Is it just me, or has it happened to anyone else?

OP posts:

Not just you. It's gone. This is no way to start the day!

FiftyShadesofGreyMatter · 03/06/2013 07:11

Gone for me too!

chocolatebee · 03/06/2013 07:30

Gone for me too.

manticlimactic · 03/06/2013 07:31

Yep gone.

Preview isn't working either.

KickapooHigh · 03/06/2013 07:31

Me too...

KickapooHigh · 03/06/2013 07:36

And when I go into a thread I'm watching it doesn't jump to my last bookmark Confused

And I can't seem to preview this message (altho that's probably my internet connection!)...

tribpot · 03/06/2013 07:37

Gone for me - it's not honouring any existing bookmarks either.

Is the banner at the top new as well? The thing that says 'Talk .. Pregnancy .. Baby' etc. If so it's highly annoying; getting its drop down menus to disappear if you accidentally hover over it.

RustyBear · 03/06/2013 07:51

It's not you, Kickapoo, preview's not working, the drop downs are a pain in the neck and there's no way of telling if you have a message if you're on an iPad (apparently it tells you if you hover over it, but you can't hover on an iPad)

Groovee · 03/06/2013 08:00

Me too! Driving me mad! Tech what have you done???

Nilgiri · 03/06/2013 08:07

Can't find how to namechange, either.

I'm stuck in my name for a specialist topic, and the rest of MN is having a welcome break from me to survive without me!

magimedi · 03/06/2013 08:07

Me too - and preview has gone. Am on desktop using Firefox, if that helps.

BIWI · 03/06/2013 08:07

Gone for me as well. It's bloody irritating, but hopefully just a temporary glitch ... Hmm

DeepRedBetty · 03/06/2013 08:15

Tech? Please can you fix bookmark? Pretty please - will send some Gin Grin

EdwiniasRevenge · 03/06/2013 08:18

Ha ha. Last week it was the mobile site folkd that had to suffer techs tinkering....this week its the desktop users. :o

It took several days to get the mobile site back to its senses

TheBirdsFellDownToDingADong · 03/06/2013 08:18

I expect it's to do with the whole top bar bit changing.

It looks very comic sans to me.

Nilgiri! oh no! Am I going to have to keep this bloody Eurovision name forever?

NicholasTeakozy · 03/06/2013 08:21

Bookmarks aren't there for me either. It looks like 'improvements' have been made overnight...

DeepRedBetty · 03/06/2013 09:13

Tech, I will make it a double if you can get rid of those sodding drop-downs that won't go away as well.

I may have to go off and prowl Another Website for a day or two, MN is driving me too bananas and it's far too early for Wine.

TonytheFish · 03/06/2013 09:13

No bookmarks and not kept the ones I had.

Also, cant find how to get onto "My Mumsnet" to change name or profile details if i wanted, although that may be me being daft...but it is not where it usually is.

cozietoesie · 03/06/2013 09:17

They've been playing with all sorts of features and settings overnight. I know that it's probably some Techie's special project and they're watching things anxiously - but I wish they'd just remember not to fix it if it ain't broke.

MalcolmTuckersMum · 03/06/2013 09:19

YY to the drop down menu. It won't piss off if you accidentally hover over it.

Not loving today on MN!

CatelynStark · 03/06/2013 09:29

Yup, I am most perturbed to have lost my bookmarking powers.

Well, a bit miffed anyway. Please can we have it back, Oh Techy One?

Nilgiri · 03/06/2013 09:34

Yep, drop down menu stays even when cursor off it - but disappears if you move cursor sideways back onto it.

Should be the other way round, surely?

YoniBottsBumgina · 03/06/2013 09:48

Nooo I need my bookmarks :(
