Name Change Fail!

Erm, I'm using a desktop PC not my phone this time although I've tried this on my phone as well.

I'm trying to name change to a name that I've had before (showing in my nickname history) for a thread that I don't want linked to my "normal" chat history.

However, when I type in the name, it tells me that this nickname is already in use, and to pick another name. Has name changing back to old names been stopped?

Not just me then.
I changed to ask for advice and now can't change back to my regular name.
I could change it to another random one though. (As that name is currently in use.
(Hence well thought out one above)
I feel like I have lost my identity!!!!
