What's meant to happen when you report a post?

I've just tried to lose my pling virginity, but nothing happened. Is it because I is Mac?

it comes up with the thread your reporting and you say why your reporting and then when you report it it comes up with 'thanks for bringing this thread to our attention'

whats it doing when you do it?
