popsycal · 30/01/2004 21:53

must be a 'lurker'

mucker · 30/01/2004 21:55

Lurker schmerker

cant the team cancel out all unsused names that remain dormant for so long? they could auction htem off like the DVLA do to number plates

OP posts:
Janh · 30/01/2004 21:58

Not necessarily a lurker - just someone who is registered but doesn't use the discussion boards - there are 20,000 registered members.

Did you want Dogsby, mucker?

mucker · 30/01/2004 21:58

OP posts:
mucker · 30/01/2004 21:59

Stop changing your name .... !

I miss a couple of days, and then I don't know who anyone is ?!

I need to know who the regulars are .... I take their advice more seriously ( sorry newbies )

mucker · 30/01/2004 22:04

Janh · 30/01/2004 22:18

I just checked - chat nickname is a required field when you first join mumsnet. Didn't realise mucker was you, darling.

How about fishface? (To go with codswallop?) Or pikey (hehe) (to go with coddy?)

stupidgirl · 30/01/2004 22:21

I like codswallop...and you're instantly recognisable (says she who's just changed her name again...)

Janh · 30/01/2004 22:22

She was edgarcat first - I think - guess her DH would spot that too though.

I'm thinking of changing mine - how does mulberry sound? (Assuming noone has it already.)

marthamoo · 30/01/2004 22:25

mrcheese/mrscheese/mucker/coddy

I'M SORRY I SAID I DIDN'T LIKE YOUR NAME!!!

It was only me, I'm sure everyone else likes it. mrcheese, yeah, it's got a real cheesy whiff of a ring to it.

I haven't changed my name yet...

suzywong · 30/01/2004 22:30

princesspeahead · 30/01/2004 23:23

coddy why don't you change it to "coddy"?! then if he searches for codswallop nothing will come up, but we'll still know who you are.

I know, I know, I'm just full of BRILLIANT solutions, aren't I? preen, preen.

While we are at it would Stupidgirl please consider changing the name too as I think it is horrible and I know you are not stupid!

Demented · 31/01/2004 23:43

That's better, I wasn't fussed on "MrCheese" although I knew it was you, your posts are very distinctive! Dogsby would have been good though.

I agree with sis, I only found out the other day at Stupidgirl was Anais and I would never have guessed as I agree you are not stupid!

Keep wondering if I should change my name, the name I originally wanted was taken but I don't want that one now as I use it on another site and someone knows it's me. Hmmm, decisions, decisions ...

Kayleigh · 01/02/2004 13:20

didn't like mrcheese at all. welcome back Coddy !!!

Coddy · 03/02/2004 11:13

CountessDracula · 03/02/2004 11:21
