Can't message posters

Whenever I try to click on the 'Message Poster' link I don't go to my Inbox, I go to the top of the page - help!

Internet Explorer 8.

So it's clearly my issue rather than MNHQ's.

Try Chrome or Firefox. IE is really only good for downloading other browsers.

I can't, it's a work laptop. IE8 is all that the firm supports.

Oh dear. Can you access your inbox? You can send PMs from there, too.

Yes I can access my inbox, and can reply to PMs sent to me, but not start PM exchanges.

There's a "button' in your inbox called +New message: click on this to start a PM exchange.

Tried it; failed; then realized I'd typed the poster's name wrong ; tried again; success!

Yep. We're trying to work out why some folks are getting this and some aren't.
