Colours in mobile site

Sorry if this has been asked/answered. Had a quick look through but no joy.

Used a laptop when I first joined MN so sorted out a colour for op posts, a MN staff colour and anything I posted a different one, easy in settings.
Easy to use, access and scroll through.

Have been using mobile iPad and iPhone apps and op plus top of posts are blue! Don't mind blue but can't differentiate easily, as all the same, on a touch screen so end up missing important updates,

Can there also be an option to open in new window/tab so we can read more than one thread at a time.

Are you talking about the app or the mobile site? On the mobile site, click on Customise and you can change the colour of OPs post, yours and MN posts.

To open in a new window, rather than tap the link, long press the link and it brings up a menu one of which is open in a new window. This is on iPhone. Not sure about android.
