you sign your name on an email and your iPhone changes 'Lynn' to 'LTB'.

Luckily I noticed before I sent it, or GeraldineMN would have been rather bemused.

The baby tells me quite emphatically when my mn time is up!

MmeLindor · 26/03/2013 16:23

Ha. Clever baby. It took my kids a lot longer than that to realise that mummy wasn't actually 'working'.

You can never spend too much time on Mumsnet Wink

Tee2072 · 26/03/2013 19:58

I'm with Julie on this one. Smile

girliefriend · 26/03/2013 20:00

when I start referring to my daughter as dd!! Or when something random happens and I think should I start a thread about this?!

issypiggle · 26/03/2013 20:02

it's the homepage on your pc

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 26/03/2013 20:02

It's even worse here, girliefriend - I know I have spent too much time on Mumsnet because whenever anything interesting happens, dh thinks I should post/ask Mumsnet about it!

PipsWife · 26/03/2013 20:04

My dh laughs and says are you STILL on MN!?
And at the weekend over dinner with friends I couldn't remember where I'd heard a very interesting fact about something we were discussing- it was MN! My dh and the rest of the table just laughed when I finally admitted where this information was from!! Smile
(I for the record believe everything I read on hereWink)

When you see a swimsuit that reminds you of a MNer's username.

MotherOfNations · 26/03/2013 22:08

When conversations always begin with "I read on mumsnet..."

MmeLindor · 27/03/2013 10:16

oh, yes. My conversations often start with 'I was reading on MN'.

Although a lot now start with 'I was reading on Twitter'

You get abuse from a rude waiter and are actually delighted as you can feel a juicy AIBU thread coming on...
