Why can't I log in on the i-pad?

Why why why?

I have been having problems all day on my iPad, if I try and go to home page it freezes the whole iPad and requires restarting. I think it's the ad in the background because the screen goes blue, all other web pages are fine. Maybe I should use the app...

When I try to log in it just ignores the form and goes back to the main page with "Log in" button highlighted. What a pain!

I'm posting from Safari on iPad, so at a guess I would say it is something specific to your system.

From ipad sertings, select safari, then scroll down to advanced, website data, then list the cookies and look for mumsnet.com. Delete that cookie, then try again to login to mumsnet.

Maybe that will work.
