Just wanted to make a polite request that we get our "Welshie" Emoticons.

And if Biscuit was turned into [Welshcake] of some format, then that'd be great too.

Diolch!

Can we have an icon of a dragon having a nervous breakdown and necking the gin for National Offers Day?

HelenMumsnet · 28/02/2013 17:55

Yes, yes, we are ready in the wings with the daffs emoticon for tomorrow.

TaggieCampbellBlack · 28/02/2013 17:56

BiscuitCrumbsInBed · 28/02/2013 17:58

binfull I'm in London and they actually stock ŵelsh cakes in my local waitrose so I can't complain too much! Smile I will be popping down to get some tomorrow. Sometimes I think of lurking there to see who else is buying them and playing 'spot the welsh person'!

piratecat · 28/02/2013 18:13

i don't live in welsh wales anymore, havent since i was a girl, and my nanna made lovely welshcakes. I tried a couple of times but they didn't taste the same.

would love a decent recipe ladies

Have made welshcakes for work and DD's school.

DP has eaten most of them already.

Jojobump1986 · 28/02/2013 21:17

I made welshcakes the other day but they came out either quite doughy or dry & a bit hard. Sad Usually I manage to get at least some of them right but I don't think it was just a temperature issue this time. I read a website that cautioned against working the dough too much. I shall try to make more tomorrow & only mix the minimum possible amount! FX they'll work better!
