Do MN normally send out emails to it's members?

So I logged in and it said my email was wrong so MNHQ couldn't send me emails. And that makes me wonder, does every member get some sort of updates sometimes or was it a special email to me about my naughty behaviour or something?

They send you emails when you are naughty or if you win a competition. There are also a few different MN email newsletters that you can subscribe to.

Uh oh I don't think I've subscribed to anything and have probably not won anything. Please PM me if I have done something wrong, mods?

You're missing out on MN roundup emails, promotional emails like MN swears by (adverts really) and possibly competitions. You can update your email address in MyMn

I'm not sure what sort of message you got (am checking that out for you). But we do need all our members to have working email addresses registered with us; it's how we communicate with people. So it would be great if you could alter your reg details to include a working email address, if that's not the case already.

Newsletters and so on aren't compulsory - you can unsubscribe (although why would you WANT to?)

We don't, as a rule, use PMs to communicate with members. If you need to contact us off-board about anything, please email [email protected]

All right, thank you for replying! On other forums I've been on members get PM's from mods about news/rulebreaking etc not emails, so I assumed that's how it was here too.
