MN's usernames

I am new to MN and think the site is fantastic. I wish I had found it ages ago. I do get a bit stuck with the initials for words though. I've worked out that HV is health visitor and what ds and dh and dd is .......it is the others that confuse me!

My question (if I am allowed to ask...not sure of the rules) is how did some of your nicknames come about? Some of them really make me laugh and intrigue me.

Mine is a derivative of my maiden name and because my dh says I am a Calamity Collision!!

I sent my dh an e- mail the other day with atm and btw on. He mailed back saying what F* is atm and btw??????????

My dh calls me List Lady as if I don't write something down i haven't a cat in hells chance of remembering!
