down memory lane - how can I look up all my old posts?

I want to see what I wrote about my sons when I first joined mumsnet over three years ago. I used to be able to look up my name on search and get a list of all threads I had posted on. I can't seem to do this now. Please can someone help me?

There were 677 discussions with messages when I searched for you - the posts listed go back to 01. Are there some missing though?

JJ · 14/01/2004 20:06

tigermoth, they archived all the older posts (from 2000 and some of the 2001). I still remember my first post two days after moving to London... sigh. It was something about online shopping.

JanH · 14/01/2004 20:13

If things are archived you can still find them though, can't you? But do you have to search for a specific title?

popsycal · 14/01/2004 20:17

go to topics then other subjects (archived) i think

JJ · 14/01/2004 20:18

Success! Thanks JanH. my first ever post

Let's hunt for tigermoth's. (Sorry if I'm being nosey-- you can tell me to stop. I've got to much to do and have decided to do none of it. HA HAHAHAHAHA)

JJ · 14/01/2004 20:28

Can't find it. But to find all the archived threads, go to "Search" then do an otherwise blank search on the topic "Other Subjects (archived)". Thanks popsy. Definitely a walk down memory lane.

It's up to 678 now Jan ! Tigermoth, if you go to 'Search board' and only put in 'Tigermoth' in the 'author nickname matches' field you get loads of your posts BUT you don't get very old ones.

I've just tried searching via your name & mine for your brilliant advice when dd was eating the end of her cot (my first ever MN post I think) and it isn't here anymore - but it was excellent advice & worked immediately.

It's quite interesting to look at your past comments, if there was to be a Mumsnet 'sage' you would be a top candidate !

tigermoth · 15/01/2004 09:38

thanks! but I've just tried search and I can't find an 'authour nickname matches field'. I just typed my name in and nothing else and got 303 discussions. What am I doing wrong?

I am glad to hear I can look at all archived threads on the 'other topics archived' topic. I must dash to work now so can't tinker around with my pc any more till this evening.

Twink, you say the nicest things

success! just found the author nickname matched field - right under my nose!

I seem to have posted tons in 2003 ( when I was not at work) but really thought I posted more than is here in 2001. Have all topics been archived under the 'other topics archivee' heading? my search only threw up 5 threads.
