Why am I being randomly logged out all of a sudden?

I've been logged on here pretty much full-time for months. Now all of a sudden I find I'm logged out every time I so much as look at another tab. It does serve as a kind of barrier against posting impulsive shite, but I'm normally quite well-behaved on MN.

My phone started it today. If I go to another site it signs me out of here

The mumsnet app crashes on me quite a lot, only started doing it recently. Got an iPhone 4.

Can you help me too, Olivia, pretty please? Grin

turnipvontrapp We're (sadly) aware that the app likes to chuck people off, though tech did an update that should have stopped this. Can we suggest deleting the app and re-installing it? Or doing the app store update thingy on your phone?

For the rest of you, it appears that the desktop site has become jealous of all the attention the app has been getting, and decided to mimic it, in hope of some tech lovin'.

We will try to get it sorted asap.

could this be anything to do with cookies?
