Hi, Shift-6 either side of words, so hello without the spaces becomes hello

are you using a phone? my Samsung galaxy note puts a space after the first so I end up with italics^

Don't think the number keys have dymbols on them.

Just have to swap to numeric keyboard - the symbols sure looks like the normal italicky chap.

It's your own fault for using opera try dolphin, it's much better.

Download Dolphin Browser, and you'll see that they all show up.

Thanks lougle for mentionong Dolphin - have just installed it on my tablet, as Firefox Beta seems to keep crashing (no error message, just desktop reappears, guess I'm too short on space...)
