Name changing has deleted my profile?

I suppose it makes sense really, but I didn't realise if I name changed I would have to add all my info again, is there a quick way to link profiles after name changing?

I think there is yes.

Also if you go back to your previous name the profile is still there, it's not deleted.

I don't know how to do it though sorry

I had this problem. The profile mover thing didnt work either.

I lost all my pictures. Some of which I dont have anywhere else.

Still waiting for tech to have a look into it for me and its been months.
