Why can't I have a mumsnet local login?

Every name I come up with it says 'sorry, you cant' have that'. I can't believe that every single name I've thought of is taken?

Sorry about this - annoying as it is, it probably is the case that the ones you've gone for are already spoken for. It's the downside of MNers being able to have as many nicknames as they want.

Have you tried adding a number or letter (eg, Skang96 or SkangA - if you want your Local nickname to refer to your MN nickname), or mashing two words together (so, for eg, instead of Penelope or Barbara, you could go for Penbar or Lopara)?
