Why has the MN toolbar stopped moving?

When I scroll down the page, the MN toolbar (Talk/All Topics/Active/I'm On...) used to stay visible. It's stopped doing that and I have to scroll all the way to the top or bottom of the screen to see it. Why?

I know - they got rid of it (there were lots of complaints apparantly)

when it first came out, I hated it, but now I REALLY miss it

Aw, I thought it was weird at first too but then realised it was really good.

They brought the Floatybar back when we all complained but now you have to opt in under Customize.
