I want to know too (about Kate and Kathryn)

Lou33 · 09/01/2004 22:39

I became one when they sent out an email asking for help. I guess I must have been the only one to reply, lol.

JanHR · 09/01/2004 22:42

I am also a moderator for the notice board (even though my details have disappeared from the moderators page) I just check it as often as I can, and redirect anyone that I think may be better off posteing in the Talk area. I also report any dodgy ones to mumsnet.
Just email mumsnet at [email protected] and say that you would like to become a moderator. If you have experience in a certain area it would help them.
Don't know about Kate and Kathryn though, sorry

popsycal · 09/01/2004 22:42

I have emailed them and made them aware of the situation.

Lou33 · 09/01/2004 22:56

Good Jan, demand a promotion .

codswallop · 10/01/2004 18:39

there are lots of mUms on the noticeboard arent there Janh?

Have any of them joined the chats threads do you know?

JanHR · 10/01/2004 20:21

I have seen a few join in the chat

KateEaton · 10/01/2004 20:43

I'm here a lot and contribute regularly but would prefer to keep my two "halves" separate!

If someone posts on the health board and doesn't get an answer quickly, I try and help or keep the thread "ticking over" until someone who does know spots it.

I do also report the occasional blindingly obvious (the only ones I can spot ) troll to Mumsnet.

I need to update my profile! I'm no thinner but ds is a lot taller and now has a sister.

Harman, if you'd like to moderate, do give it a go. I think the Mumsnet team are always grateful for volunteers and the site is so successful and busy these days I'm sure they need more!

KateEaton · 10/01/2004 20:44

Sorry Harman, I've just seen that you were only curious at the mo. Shows how carefully I read the posts...

popsycal · 10/01/2004 20:44

kate i am very intrigued as to who you are now....

Hulababy · 10/01/2004 20:46

Popsy, maybe me, you and hmb (or any other teachers) could try moderating the Education thread!!!

popsycal · 10/01/2004 20:47

hula - can you imagine that!!!!

SoupDragon · 10/01/2004 20:51

Would you keep telling us to be quiet or threaten to send us to the MN headmistresses?

popsycal · 10/01/2004 20:51

hehe soupy!

Hulababy · 10/01/2004 20:53

Have to be lines Soupy but no doing them on the computer; that's cheating

Or we could suspend people's rights to use MN for a day or two and see how they cope

SoupDragon · 10/01/2004 20:55

You'll be up against the court of human rights and Amnesty International will get involved due to your inhumane behaviour if you try that sort of thing!

Hulababy · 10/01/2004 20:56

LOL Soupy!!!
