Why can't we quote posts

Like MNHQ can? I think it would be awesome and also it would save a lot of copying and pasting which you can't do on most phones.

Hate is a bit strong though isn't it? Bliney we're only talking about quoting posts.

Quoting drives me mad. People just quote great big swaths of text and then put LOL underneath it.

Morning. To answer you, WhenSanta, this question has been raised a few times before and each time it's become clear during the course of the discussion that the majority of users (who expressed an opinion) would much prefer NOT to have the quote function. For more or less the reasons many folks have given here.

So we've decided to leave the quote function as an MNHQ-only one for now.
