It's a bloody biscuit!

(and don't post me a load of bloody biscuits 'cos that would just be un-original)

Biscuit
FredWorms · 06/10/2012 23:16

A stupidly long time I've been thinking it was a flower. I kind of got the meaning, sort of, but I always quietly wondered "why a flower?".

It's rather a fine little dodger actually isn't it, now I peer at it closely? Subtle shading and everything.

See how I'm ignoring your biscuits?

Grin. What did you think the sunflower meant exactly? And why would one have to type [ biscuit] to get a sunflower ? Grin

Looks like a catsbum to me anyway Wink

Well I never used it, so I never knew one would have to type "biscuit" to get it.

I always took it to mean a speechless kind of thing (I'm embarrassed now), 'cos it was always just a little flower and no words.

Eew, catsbum. DD had a cheap iced lolly from Asda today, a pinky red one in a cylinder shape, and once bitten it looked exactly like a cat's bottom.

Of course, once I'd mentioned this she kept waving it around in my face.

Really? You thought it was a sunflower?

Bless.

NotGeoffVader · 06/10/2012 23:27

I want a catsbum emoticon now!

FreddieMercurysBolero · 07/10/2012 23:17

Gordon Brown did a MN webchat a few years ago. Several people asked him what his favourite biscuit was during the webchat. He either ignored the question or did not see it, as he claimed. And lo, the biscuit emoticion was born. It is generally used to mean 'no comment'. :)

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 07/10/2012 23:24

Pahahahahaah! Grin

FredWorms · 08/10/2012 17:14

I was here for the Gordon Brown thing, I've been here years. (But thanks anyway Freddie Smile )

Somehow I just missed the biscuit!

Is the bear nice? I often want to add one for a 'ah bless' kind of emoticon but am wary in case it means 'I curse you and hope you get fleas or something'Confused

OlaRapaceFru · 08/10/2012 18:01

I've just had a skim read of that thread again. I was relatively new to MN at the time, so just lurked on it; but it's just reminded me that it was that thread, despite the main theme, which introduced me to the strangeness that is Jello Salad Grin
