acronyms? not sure if right category

Im a bit confused by some acronyms people are using - especially in the childbirth category.

could anybody help me out? Have tried the acronym bit at the top but they arent on there

IUGR is one i cant get my head round, and PPH??

Hi Charlienash25, I've taken a look at Google and IUGR stands for Intrauterine Growth Restriction and PPH means postpartum haemorrhage. These are medical terms, so they're not on our Acronyms List.

If you're ever stuck, you're more than welcome to start a thread asking others what a particular acronym stands for. We're sure others who are equally as confused would appreciate it!

Good old google - never even thought about doing that myself! Silly me!
