"message withdrawn"

Just opened the thread about chucking out mooncups to find under the OP "message withdrawn."
Now, "Message withdrawn at poster's request" and "Message withdrawn for breaking talk guidelines, etc etc" are pretty self explanatory.... but can anyone explain this for me? Ta!

Hello. It's the same thing as "Message withdrawn at poster's request", FermezLaBouche. But, a while back, some posts were replaced with "message withdrawn" instead - depending on back-end gubbins here.

Was it an old thread you were looking at?

No - don't think so, it's in AIBU now I think. Didn't notice when it was started though so maybe it's just been dragged up recently. Thanks for the explanation!
