An idea - gift CAT subscriptions?

I thought this might be a nice thing for Mn to offer - there are people who find it hard to afford the CAT fee, and have friends on here who might like to help them out.
What do people think?

How would it work you two old hags ? Grin

Or would paying Mn to disconnect some of us from CATing be even more popular? Grin

I think you used to be able to offer gift voluntary sub/donations so I guess the functionality is still skulking around somewhere in Tech's giant brain

how long has the CAT thing been chargable?

My subs had expired so I couldn't send one, I didn't even realise there was achage to send one.

(BTW I did pay)

Hi - we did discuss this at the last meeting, but it turns out to be a bit of a nightmare to set up. However, if you have someone in particular you'd like to set up with a CAT, \link{mailto:[email protected]\let us know} and we'll see what we can do.

Oops, missed your question LadyTophamHatt - we've done away with subs and CATs have cost £5 / year since early January, I believe.
